Three generations building pools
Paradise Living Cabo carries on a three-generation family business. It was started in Mexicali by Alejandro's great-grandfather, continued by his grandmother, and then by his father, Alejandro "Alex" Medina, as Albercas Paraíso / Paradise Pools and Spas.
Alex Medina is trained by pool equipment manufacturers Jandy and Pentair. Under his leadership the company earned six NSPI design awards (Awards of Merit), including a Gold award for best commercial pool outside the United States.
Featured projects include Sol Pacífico in Cerritos, with the longest infinity edge in Mexico, and an award-winning project at Hilton Los Cabos. Over the years the family opened branches in Tijuana, Rosarito, Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, Manzanillo and Cancún.
